Short description of the project:

Participation in development of Trade and Risk Capture application that is required for the efficient handling interest rates derivatives trades (both voice and electronic), hedged operations with cash trades, receiving on-line risk calculations and processing trades downstream. This includes integration with numerous other applications responsible for providing market data, different types of electronic trades (both external and internal), workflow issues addressing for the front and middle office.

Project technology stack: .NET 4.0 (WPF, Workflow, MEF), Microsoft Automation Framework, White, TIBCO EMS, Tangosol.NET, LINQ, JavaEE (JPA, JMS), Oracle Coherence, OSGi, Spring DM, Spring Integration, JBoss Drools, REST services

Responsibilities:

• Manual & Functional Test Design and Execution:

• GUI based functional testing

• Create and maintain test scenarios and test cases

• Execute tests based on provided test scenarios - test cases + data sets

• Document and report any issues that occur: reduce the issue to simple scenario providing very clear break down of all repetition steps

• Design new Test Cases / Data Sets / Scenarios based on samples and guidelines

• Test results collecting and metrics calculating

Requirements:

• GUI: understanding of best practice design methodologies and initiative workflow

• Documentation Skills: ability formulate and well document Test Cases / Scenarios / Requirements / Issues etc

• Experience in Test Systems and issue tracking systems (HP Quality Center, Jira etc.)

• Basic development skills (C#.NET); databases knowledge

As a plus:

• Understanding and experience in C#: read and understand code

• Basic understanding of Network components

• Understanding of such (but not limited to): - Data transfer; - Security / Authentication / Identity / Certificates / Keys; - etc;

• Messaging understanding (process, principles) of the base of JMS and/or TIBCO Rendezvous

• Analyze product requirements

• Test cases development and maintenance

• Provide full-cycle testing (functional, performance, etc) and other software product verification and validation activities

• Generate test reports indicating the testing results and conclusion about a product stability

Requirements:

• MS/BS degree in Computing Sciences or equivalent

• Experience in testing web application

• testing documentation development, review and maintenance (Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Protocols, etc)

• Experience in working with requirements

• Basic knowledge in test automation and programming languages

• English reading and writing skills
