Эссе - (франц. essai - попытка, проба, очерк, от лат. exagium - взвешивание), прозаическое сочинение небольшого объема и свободной композиции, выражающее индивидуальные впечатления и соображения по конкретному поводу или вопросу и заведомо не претендующее на определяющую или исчерпывающую трактовку предмета.
Вот несколько советов и рекомендаций о том, как нужно писать эссе:
Эссе должно четко демонстрировать Ваше умение ясно выражать мысли как в письменной форме, так и посредством логических рассуждений.
Одна из самых больших ошибок, которые совершают при написании эссе, – это наполнение его фактами, которые не относятся к заданной теме. Для того, чтобы отобрать только нужные и важные факты, необходимо сначала четко определить главную тему Вашего эссе. Все остальные мысли должны дополнять и подтверждать эту тему.
При написании эссе выражайте свою точку зрения ясно, используйте при написании понятный язык, избегайте ошибок.
Структура эссе:
1) Introduction (вступление)

1.Четко сформулировать тему-проблему, скажите, почему это может заинтересовать читателя. 2.Укажите, что существуют две противоположные точки зрения на проблему. 3.Выскажите свое мнение, не используя слишком много личных конструкций.
