People all over the world are worried by the ecological problems. Environmental pollution is one of the most serious problems facing humanity today because it causes global warming, destruction of the ozone layer and other disastrous processes. Thousands os smoky industrial enterprices all over the world pollute the air we breath, the water we drink, the land around us. The main sources of air pollutant are automobilies and stationary combustion processes such as those used in generating electric power. The contamination of water ways comes from many sources: chemical waste from factories, thermal waste from power station, domestic waste from cities and towns. Land pollution results from the dumping of a wide variety. The most ecological disaster was the Chernobyl tragedy in april 1986, as a result of it 18 percent of the territory of Belarus were polluted with radioactive substances. Greenpeace is an international enviromentl organization, it works to change government and industrial policies that threaten the natural world.

Last year I entered the Gomel State Technical University named after the famous aircraft designer Pavel Sukhoi.
I specialize in (chose) engineering as the engineering profession is responsible for much of today's industrial technology which has benefited people in numerous ways.
Electrical Engineering deals with the development, production, and testing of electrical and electronic devices and equipment. Electrical engineers design equipment to produce and distribute electricity. This equipment includes generators run by water power, coal, oil, and nuclear fuels; transmission lines; and transformers. Electrical engineers also design and develop electric motors and other electrical machinery as well as ignition systems used in automobiles, aircraft, and other engines. They work to improve such devices as air conditioners, food processors, and vacuum cleaners.
My future profession is very important to modern civilization. All we consume electric power.

Let me introduce myself. My nane is stanislav. I am 17 years old. I was born on july 13 1993 in gomel.in 2000 I went to scholl. I studied well and got only good and excellent marks. I took an active part in social life of my school. My favorite subjects were mathematicks and physics. Now I am first year student of gomel state technical university named after pavel sukhoi. I study power ingeenering. I want to be a good specialist. My family is large. It consists of 3 person, I have a mother and grandmother. My mother is a engineer. He is 39 old. She works at a manufacture. My grandmother is a pensioner.

I usually get ut at 7 oclock. I go to the bathroom , wash and clean my teeth, then I go to the kitchen and have a breakfast. Then I go to the university. I am never late. Our classes begin at 8 oclock . Every day we have 3 or 4 lectures and seminars in different subjects. We work hard. Two times a week we have English. Between classes we have short breaks. When our classes are over, students go home or to the hostel. I always have a dinner at home. When I come home from the university I have a short rest. I can read news, go out for a walk or visit my friends. On week-days I go to the bed at 11 oclock/
