Предисловие
Сборник предназначен для студентов, изучающих английский язык как второй иностранный на начальном и среднем этапах. Его цель – формирование и совершенствование грамматических навыков. Он может использоваться как на аудиторных занятиях, так и для самостоятельной работы студентов.
Сборник состоит из 12 разделов, которые охватывают базовый грамматический материал. В начале каждого раздела представлены упражнения, позволяющие овладеть формой определенного грамматического явления, затем следуют упражнения, которые раскрывают его значение и формируют навыки употребления. Далее предложены задания на сравнение данной грамматической конструкции со схожими конструкциями, а также задания, направленные на тренировку употребления этого грамматического явления в связном контексте монолога и диалога. Каждый раздел завершает тест, с помощью которого можно проверить уровень овладения грамматическим материалом. Система упражнений, предложенная в сборнике, содержит задания не только языкового, но и условно-речевого характера, что позволяет овладевать грамматикой как средством решения практических речевых задач.
Структура сборника позволяет работать над грамматическим материалом как целостно, постепенно переходя от одного раздела к другому¸ так и выборочно, в любой необходимой последовательности.
Все упражнения, представленные в сборнике, содержат разнообразную лексику, при этом лексический компонент соответствует начальному и среднему уровням обучения и усложняется по мере наращивания грамматического материала.
Работа со сборником позволяет систематизировать знания в рамках темы одного раздела и интегрировать их в общую систему грамматических навыков, снять трудности в овладении значительной частью грамматического материала, а также стимулирует сознательное отношение к изучению английского языка.
Сборник может быть использован не только студентами, изучающими второй иностранный язык, но и широким кругом лиц, желающих повысить свой уровень практического владения английским языком.
