Register Control via cpc 41
The …… register control CPC 41 continues to be …… for several press models. Via special CPC register marks register deviations are measured, displayed and …… to a precision of l/loo mm by means of the register mark ……. Desired deviations in the register mark, possibly on account of the …… print image control, can be assumed as set values via an ok function.
After …… the register mark reader is put …… in parked position on the interface. From there the calculated …… for lateral, circumferential and diagonal registers are transferred to the CPC 1-04 and then …… executed by the register servo motors in the …… units.

Text 5 Coating and Drying
With Heidelberg's in-line coating unit, your job makes a much better impression - and at an extremely cost-effective rate. It applies a generous and uniform layer of water based or UV coating over the entire sheet, or for spot coating. The path traveled by the coating from the pan to the sheet is short. This rules out any chance of aqueous coatings drying on the rollers. A newly developed user-friendly aqueous based coating supply system ensures continuous circulation of the varnish for maximum quality. At the press of a button at the control console, the supply system switches over to rinsing mode. The entire circulation system is then automatically cleaned; this reduces downtimes even further.
The coating unit register can now be controlled laterally and circumferentially from the CPC 1 console. This ensures short make-ready times and maximize user convenience. The clamping bars of the coating unit are pinned to match the printing units, and their special design permits easy corrections to diagonal register.
As a special option, an automatic program-controlled coating blanket washing system is available as an optional accessory. It cleans the coating blanket while the blankets from the printing units are being washed. In-line coating typically will call for drying. Higher speeds and increasing demands on quality call for new bold solutions here as well. The new Heidelberg IR dryers are the answer We design and manufacture these dryers ourselves, custom-tailoring them to the various Speedmaster models to give outstanding performance and reliability. Different dryer versions are available for models with and without a coating system.
To ensure reliable sheet travel, both delivery and the dryers have to be optimally coordinated and harmonized Heidelberg has developed and built a dryer that is perfectly matched to the new patented sheet guide plates This combination ensures optimum sheet control which eliminates sheet fluttering completely while providing outstanding drying results, even at top speeds To minimize wasteful energy consumption, the IR heaters can be adjusted either to the maximum sheet size or limited to 70 cm (27 inches) in width. A contact free IR sensor measures the pile temperature and automatically controls the dryer output to maintain the preselected temperature. All supply systems for Heidelberg's IR dryers are installed in a dryer cabinet. To increase the reliability of production even further, the Heidelberg's IR dryers are equipped with an electronic diagnostic system.
