Successful Young Businessman

William King is a successful businessman with his own large house with sea views, a new car and a lot of money in the bank. But there are quite a lot of people like that, so what is so special about William? Well, the thing is that he is only 19 years old.

From a very young age William was only interested in planes.

1. When he started going to

school his teachers soon learnt about his passion. “William always wanted to read about aeroplanes and helicopters”, his first teacher said. “We had a big book about aircraft in the class

library.”

2.

Unfortunately, William did not remain as enthusiastic about school. He left as soon as possible,

getting a job at his local airport before he was 17.

3. William was surprised that there were

no flights from his airport to these islands. He persuaded his parents and a couple of his older friends to join him in setting up their own small airline offering flights there.

4. Fortunately, one of William’s friends had already made some money from a successful

restaurant business. They were also able to persuade the bank to lend them some more.

They use only small planes and their flights have immediately become very popular with tourists.

They say that it feels much more like ‘real flying’ than going in a large plane.

5. They find

them much more convenient than travelling the alternative way, which is a four-hour journey by sea.

William says that he himself has been surprised at how quickly he has achieved business success.

But he has many plans for how to develop his business further.
