8. First Aid
A.In the United States everyone is encouraged to learn first aid, which means how to take care of people who are injured or sick in an emergency. First aid courses are offered regularly at community centers, high schools, and medical offices. One technique that is always part of first aid training is rescue breathing. In this section, you will learn the steps in rescue breathing. Have you ever had a lifethreatening emergency? What happened? Who helped you? Have you ever seen a serious accident or medical emergency? Did you do anything to help the victim(s)? Have you ever taken a first aid course? Do you think it's important for everyone to know first aid?
Look at the pictures and try to predict the correct order of the steps.
