5. Track your campaigns performance
Try to place some kind of tracking mechanism within the concept. The total amount of new business generated should be compared with the cost of the campaign to determine effectiveness, and the direction of your next campaign.
So, that’s it! Determine your objectives; find out what your customers really want, create a simple but memorable pitch shown in the right media for your target market, and measure the results. It’s a simple secret of a successful advertising campaign!
The concept of leadership. Are leaders born or made?
Are leaders born or made? This question continues to dominate the study of leadership today. While no predictive model exists, we know something about «what leads to leadership.»
One difficulty in discussing the topic is definition. There are some traits of a leader:
Leaders are individuals who establish direction for a working group of individuals, who has authority in this group and who motivate group members to achieve the direction’s outcomes. For example, Ingvar Kamprad, a famous founder of IKEA.
Leaders can be found all over organizations.
And to talk about the «born or made» I think that the current consensus is that it is both. In a majority of cases, genetics and early family experiences play the significant role in developing the personality and character of future leader. They also contribute to the development of the intellectual and interpersonal skills necessary to lead. But there are more very important things that make a good leader such as work experiences, opportunities, education, role models and mentors all go together to craft a leader.
Current research suggests that experiences at the job play an important role in leader behavior. Early in their careers leaders had opportunities to lead, to take risks and to learn from their successes and failures.
A lot of leaders’ elements and skills can be taught. But to be successful, training must consist of some important parts:
The first – such training must consist of teachable skills.
The second thing – it must improve abilities of managers
And the third thing about a good training sounds like – it must help managers see and move beyond their interpersonal blocks.
And in conclusion I want to talk about several ways to improve or develop leadership skills:
Be willing to take risks
Network and look for ways to expand your contacts
Encourage people around you to find their own leadership qualities
Be confident in yourself and your abilities
Create a vision and share your vision to inspire others
Think positively and commit to reaching your goals
In conclusion, I’d like to say that as for me people can born with some leader’s qualities but it’s important to improve them. And in my point of view a really good leader is a mix of gain and born skills, and it’s very hard sometimes to improve your leader skills nowadays, but truly leader is always has opportunity to take his place on the top of business or life hierarchy.
