Ecological Expertise
Ecological expertise is a complex system of actions to in order to establish the compliance of business enterprises with environmental requirements. In a large extent, it remains a section in the project documentation submitted to the state ecological expertise (EE).
Types of ecological expertise
The Republic of Kazakhstan is carring out state ecological expertise and public ecological expertise.
The objectives of ecological expertise
Ecological expertise is carried out in order to:
1) define and limit the possible negative impacts of the proposed administrative, economic, investment,
standard setting and other activities on the environment and public health;
2) balance the interests of economic development and environmental protection and prevent damage to third parties in the process of use of natural resources.
