Homework (for the 27^th of March)

SB: ex.6 (p.89)

1. They sort of clamp them open.

2. How did they dive you anaesthetic? Was it an injection or something?

3. They just poured in a load of these eye drops.

4. I have to go back a few times for the aftercare and everything.

5. About a week ago or so, I got this excruciating pain in my upper jaw.

6. He told me that one of my teeth had died somehow.

7. He said I must've taken some kind of knock.

8. He stuck some kind of temporary filling in to prevent bacteria or anything getting in.

1. I asked for a second opinion, but they sort of ignored me.

2. He used bleach solution or something on my teeth.

3. If you want a check-up, it should cost about €100 or so.

4. They told me that a load of build-up was damaging blood vessels in my brain.

5. They use this tiny little knife or something like that to make the incision.

6. It was quite a traumatic birth, but they somehow managed to deliver her after about an hour or so.

7. They just glued the skin back together again using kind of clear plastic tape.

8. Mercifully, there were no needles involved – just massage, traditional medicine and stuff like that.
