The way I wanted to spend this summer.

This summer has happened to be the most unusual for the last ten years. The COVID-19 pandemic has been a very tough challenge for all of us around the world. And each of us had their plans for this summer, but not everyone was lucky to embody them. But not me! Almost all my plans were realized. Let’s talk about it.

First of all, the main goal for me was to pass exams. I wanted to get all the good marks and I did it. That was quite exciting! After the exams I was to take a rest.

I wish I went to the sea and swam there. I wanted to travel to some country like Italy or France. Thought I would be able to see Eiffel tower or the Coliseum. It would be nice to have a walk around those narrow alleys and taste the croissant with delicious cheese sitting on the balcony and staring at beautiful architecture.

One more thing I wanted to realize was to spend some time in the country with my friends. Speaking about it, I wanted to meet my old friends who were my classmates in school life. I wish I could spend much more time with them.

Another thing I planned to do was going to my native town – Vladimir. There I lived some time with my parents. I wanted to tell them about my achievements in studying and in personal life. Also I planned to visit my grandparents and help my grandpa to repair the roof.

Me and my girlfriend were planning to go to Peterhof and see that amazing water stairs and those incredible fountains. We wanted to see all the ancient sculptures of the glorious legends from the myths of Ancient Greek.

I was to learn how to play guitar this summer. And I did it! And then one of my little dreams had come true – I played some cool songs sitting by the fire.

But there was one thing I couldn’t realize because of lack of time. It was reading all the books I wanted to read.

Nevertheless, I’m happy that I wasn’t infected and that I’m still healthy. That summer was interesting and full of different emotions.
