В Лондоне в рамках итоговой выставки London Metropolitan University были показаны дипломные работы выпускников школы МАРШ. В 2014 премию Cass получила работа Марии Тюлькановой, а в 2015 году — Надежды Чадович. Помимо этого, в 2015 году два ди-

плома — Надежды Чадович и Марии Курковой — были номинированы на Медаль президента Королевского института британских архитекторов (RIBA). Выставки дипломных работ архитектурных вузов открыты для всех, а в этом году они вошли в состав ежегодного Лондонского фестиваля архитектуры и удостоились рецензии ведущего британского архитектурного критика Роуэна Мура в еженедельнике The Observer.

MARCH Exhibition in The CASS

In London, as part of the final exhibition of London Metropolitan University graduate works by MARSH school graduates were shown. In 2014 the work by Maria Tyulkanova won the Cass award, and in 2015 — the work by Nadezhda Chadovich. In addition, in 2015 two diplomas by Nadezhda Chadovich and Maria Kurkova were nominated for the Medal of the President of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). The architectural schools’ diplomas exhibitions are open to all audiences. This year they were a part of the annual Festival of Architecture in London and were awarded with the review of the leading British architecture critic Rowan Moore in the weekly paper The Observer.

Книга является итогом совместного проекта, организованного Международным институтом архитектуры i2a и Архитектурной школы МАРШ при поддержке фонда «Про Гельвеция» в рамках программы Swiss made in Russia. В книгу вошли материалы лекций прочитанных

вМоскве швейцарскими архитекторами, интервью и дискуссии, архитектурные и художественные проекты. Лекции провели молодые швейцарские архитектурные бюро,

вчьей практике и исследованиях заметен интерес к проектированию как гражданской активности. Швейцария — мировой «чемпион»

ввопросах гражданского общества, участия населения в управлении страной. Но только в сравнении таких разных социальных сред, как Швейцария и Россия, можно понять важность этого движения.

В презентации приняли участие Директор Международного института архитектуры i2a Лодовика Моло и руководитель программы Swiss made in Russia, фонд «Про Гельвеция», Кристоф Россе.

Book presentation

“The Architect as a civil activist: between state and society”

The book is the result of a joint project organized by the International Institute of Architecture i2a and Moscow School of Architecture, MARCH, supported by the foundation “Pro Helvetia” in the framework of program “Swiss made in Russia”. The book includes materials of lectures delivered in Moscow by Swiss architects, interviews and discussions, architectural and artistic projects. Lectures were held by young Swiss architectural firms, whose practice and research shows evident interest in design as a civil activity. Switzerland is the world “champion” in civil matters and society participation in state governance. But only when comparing different social environments, such as Switzerland and Russia, we can understand the importance of this movement.

The presentation was attended by: Director of the International Institute of Architecture i2a Ludovica Molo Manager of the Program Swiss made in Russia, the fund “Pro Helvetia”, Christophe Rosset.

В сентябре 2014 г. первым выпускникам МАРШ были вручены дипломы LMU и МАРШ. Церемония вручения дипломов прошла в Digital October, в ней приняли

участие декан The CASS профессор Роберт Малл и исполнительный директор The CASS Сигни Сальвастога. В честь первого выпуска МАРШ был изготовлен памятный значок.

Вдекабре 2014 года

Врамках проекта социокультурной интеграции слепоглухих «Прикасаемые» прошла первая «Лаборатория» в МАРШ.

«Лаборатории» социокультурной интеграции — открытые площадки для общения слепоглухих людей и волонтеров с мастерами разных культурных жанров: актерами, скульпторами, хореографами

и другими. Задача «лабораторий» — преодолеть существующие барьеры в общении, раскрыть творческий потенциал, помогать слепоглухим людям формировать целостную картину мира. «Лаборатории» проходят регулярно на разных площадках Москвы.

Слепоглухие участники проекта и студенты школы смогли прикоснуться к поиску и пониманию формы, масштаба, ритма и метра

и других аспектов восприятия мира человеком.

Для студентов МАРШ такие занятия — тоже своего рода эксперимент. Непосредственное общение со слепоглухими людьми позволило им понять мировосприятие инвалидов по зрению и слуху для возможной последующей работы по созданию архитектурной среды для инвалидов.

In the framework of the project for social and cultural integration of the blind and deaf called “Touchable” the first “Laboratory” was held in MARCH. “Laboratory” of social and cultural integration is an open platform for communication of deafblind people and volunteers with the masters of different cultural genres: actors, sculptors, choreographers, and others. The objective of “laboratories” is

to overcome the existing barriers in communication, to unlock the creative potential, to help deafblind people to form a complete picture of the world. “Laboratories” are held regularly at various venues in Moscow.

Deafblind project participants and the school’s students were able to touch the finding and understanding the form, scale, rhythm and meter, and other aspects of human perception of the world.

For MARCH students such activities are also an experiment. Direct communication with deafblind people has allowed them to understand the worldview of the visually impaired and people with hearing disabilities for a possible follow-up work on the creation of architectural environment for people with disabilities.

If I try to describe a.. problem which occupies my mind at the moment it will be the word “magic”.

In architecture I see the culture chain which .. through its rudimentary magic can become the point of the growth of absolutely new initiatives and in a new way address the civilization problems, which engulf the global mankind, in particular the questions connected with the sense of life in the system of planet existence”.

Поэтому важно понимать, анализировать и интегрировать этот элемент на ранних стадиях проектирования здания.

Design with knowledge — the value of daylight

Signe Kongebro

“Daylight — a free and powerful tool to create architecture based on the creation of

value”.

Signe Kongebro sees the daylight as a design element that creates value. It increases comfort, reduces energy consumption and improves spatial perception. Therefore, it is important to understand, analyze and integrate this element in the early stages of designing of a building.

Signe Kongebro is Master of Architecture and a partner at the architectural bureau Henning Larsen Architect. He is the Head of the Department of Sustainable Development, which works in the area of sustainable design, an integral part of which is clever use of natural light.

Formation of the environment in the surrounding landscape by comparing the light and the texture

«The architectural space is created by com-

paring the light and the matter»

On the example of his works Jan Søndergaard will tell us how he works with materials and light at any scale, and show how architectural form and anatomy of its buildings are born — from binding to the landscape and the present context to the drawing up the details.

Jan Søndergaard is a Partner in architectural office KHR, Master of Arts in Architecture, professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, Design and conservation of the architectural heritage, the Graduate School of Architecture (Copenhagen).

Helle Juul believes that the change of light emphasizes the experience of the observer — him/ her being here and now. This makes the daylight a tool which helps the architecture to create an ideal basis for human life.

Helle Juul is a CEO, founder, and partner of architectural firm JUUL | FROST Arkitekter. For two decades she has gained a vast experience of practical and scientific work in the field of

development and planning of urban space and the university campus.
